Jim Young

Principal, Outside Sales

Jim Young joined KEY Lighting in 1974 while in college studying architecture. He became a principal in the agency in 1984. Member of IES.

Mike Kuhn

Principal, Outside Sales, Quotations, Lighting Applications

Mike Kuhn was graduated from the University of Georgia in 1975 with a BS in Education. He joined KEY Lighting in 1980 and became a principal in the agency in 1984. Member of IES.

Sam Glass

Outside Sales

Sam Glass has worked in the lighting industry since 1980. He joined KEY Lighting in 1986 and is a member of IES.

Leslie Forrester

Outside Sales & Marketing

Leslie Forrester joined KEY Lighting in 2002 as a full time outside specification salesperson. Prior to 2002 she worked for KEY Lighting part time as a sales assistant. Leslie enjoys working with architects and engineers to help them find the perfect fixture for a space or to assist in finding a solution to a difficult issue. Leslie graduated from Central Missouri State University, Cum Laude, in May of 2002. Current IES Kansas City chapter board member.

Amanda Scott

Outside Sales

Amanda Scott joined KEY Lighting in 2010 as a specification salesperson. Prior to joining KEY, Amanda had 10 years of experience as a regional sales manager for a lighting manufacturer and as a specification sales rep. She loves assisting designers with finding fixtures that suit their needs and seeing the final product once they are built. BA - from Metropolitan State College of Denver. Current Chair member of WiD-KC

Amy R. Chapman

Outside Sales, State of Kansas

Amy R. Chapman graduated in December 1998 with a B.S. in Architectural Engineering from Kansas State University.  She served as a consulting engineer for eleven years before coming to KEY Lighting.  Her primary responsibilities as a consulting engineer included working with owners, architects, and other engineering disciplines to coordinate quality designs for clients, manage projects within time and budgetary constraints, prepare project interviews/presentations and fee estimates/information for project proposals, write reports for project studies, perform site visits to determine existing project conditions, size and layout electrical distribution systems for a wide variety of buildings, perform lighting calculations and short circuit analysis utilizing computer programs, layout receptacles/lights and size and provide circuiting, provide electrical connections for equipment, layout fire alarm devices and boxes/conduit for communication systems, design roadway and parking lot lighting, attend design, pre-bid, and construction meetings with owners, contractors, and other design disciplines, edit electrical specifications, prepare electrical cost estimates, and review shop drawings and submittals, answer contractor questions during bidding and construction, perform final inspections and prepare punch lists for contractors.   Amy is a registered professional engineer and is LEED accredited.   She lives in Salina, Kansas with her husband and two dogs.  She enjoys Kansas State University football/basketball, music/movies, hunting/fishing, and spending time with family/dogs/friends.

P. J. Ruth

PJ Ruth has over 20 years Customer Service experience. She joined KEY Lighting in 2009.

Sharon Clingman

Accounting

Sharon Clingman has 32 years of experience in Sales, Customer Service, and Marketing with KEY Lighting, currently filling the position of Bookkeeping.
